For the Balmain Kids SS26 campaign, WABISABI STUDIO developed the creative direction for a video built around the lightness and instinctive freedom of childhood. Shot entirely in studio, the campaign transforms a minimal white space into a suspended, almost dreamlike environment. Flowing fabrics, wind, spontaneous movement and slow motion create a visual language shaped around lightness, while a music-box soundtrack reinforces the sense of innocence and play. This deliberately delicate atmosphere contrasts with the bold silhouettes and distinctive attitude of the Balmain collection, allowing the strength of the garments and the spontaneity of the children to coexist within the same narrative. A campaign where softness meets statement, translating childhood and Balmain’s unmistakable identity into one coherent visual language.
